Until December 2025 Peter was a Senior Director in Nuveen’s European Real Estate Debt Strategies business with a broad remit across loan origination, execution and portfolio management. Prior to that, Peter was Head of Real Estate at Cairn Capital, establishing its commercial real estate lending business in 2015, and before this establishing its real estate debt advisory business when he joined the firm in 2008. From 2003 to 2008, Peter was a managing director at Lehman Brothers, within the Global Real Estate Group with responsibility for structuring and distribution of loans originated across Europe. Peter has also worked at Bayerische Hypo-und Vereinsbank, Standard and Poor’s where he established the European CMBS ratings team, The Royal Bank of Scotland and started his career working for real estate consulting firm Weatherall Green and Smith.
Peter graduated with a B.A. (Hons) in Geography from University of London (University College) and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
